Personal Progress Motivator.

I've been thinking that with it being the New Year and all...
our Young Women need some serious motivation to get going on their Personal Progress!

In our ward, we have one class activity per month assigned to doing something to help start and/or pass off a Personal Progress requirement.  I have put my advisors in charge of keeping track of the girls' Personal Progress as well as meeting with them and checking in on their monthly progress.

I wanted something to do on Sunday's though...as a little reward for the girls who have taken the time to work on something having to do with Personal Progress for that week.

This week during our opening exercises, we will start picking from our Lollipop Tree.
The Lollipop Tree = a SWEET reward for working on Personal Progress.

Each week we will ask for any of the girls who have accomplished ANY PP requirement, to come up to the front of the group and pick out a lollipop for themselves and quickly tell us what they passed off.

It doesn't have to be an entire value...just {at least} one requirement or experience!

My hope is to have depleted ALL of the lollipops from the tree by the end of the year.

The Lollipop Tree is super easy to make.  All you need is:

3 big bags of dum-dums
A styrofoam ball
Cute white vase {mine was found at Wal-mart for $5!}
You just fill in every spot possible on the ball with suckers so that no green is left showing.

Fingers crossed that this at least STARTS my girls to get motivated.
{Smile!}
