Book Reviews.

I always look forward to summer time and going to the cabin because it means that I can finally relax and R-E-A-D.  Which I just never seem to find enough time to do when I'm at home.  At our cabin, it's all about
 R-e-L-a-X-a-T-i-O-n 
and I love it.  


I was able to get in 5{ish} books this time.  


Here's what I thought:

The Message


My sister read this book first.  Then my mom.  Then my other sister.  
They all RAVED about.
They demanded that I read it too...
And it did not disappoint.
It is SO uplifting.  It's about a man who went into a coma and experienced life in the spirit world.
It's touching and I can promise you....you'll tear up just reading it.
Neat, neat book. It's a quick read.

The Happiness Project 

I had high hopes for this book.  I loved the concept of it.  I just didn't LOVE the writing style of this particular author.  I'm about 100 pages into it and I can't motivate myself to finish it.  Someday maybe.  

Deadly Deceit

Oh man, if you love a good true crime story...you must read this book.  ESPECIALLY if you are from Arizona {it all takes place in Ahwatukee}.  It is a page turner and SOOOO good.  The story is basically about a sick and twisted man who commits multiple crimes.  Not very uplifting thats for sure...but a page turner nonetheless. I found mine at Barnes and Noble for only $6.99.

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks


Currently in the middle of this one and I find it truly fascinating.  
I'm not much of a science/biology person but no worries....you'll STILL like it!
Someone once told me that if I liked the book The Help, then I'd like this one.
They were right. 
I LOVE it.  Cannot wait to finish it.
